On a hill near Rethymnon with vine yards and olive trees overlooking the infinite sea, don't miss a culinary experience, tasting diverse seasonal dishes based on the fruits of the land and the legendary nutritional Cretan cuisine.


In the Agreco Taverna you will taste the very best of traditional Cretan cuisine.  Only fresh, organic farm produce is used in the menu and the preparation is done entirely in the farm kitchens.

Start your visit early in the afternoon, one-hour before the sunset, to enjoy a guided farm tour around the estate. Then, enjoy the daily set-menu dinner comprising of 30 different tastes which vary according to the season and availability of produce: Curd cheese, pickled wild artichokes, quail, stuffed courgette flowers are just some of the seasonal specialities.

The taverna is open from May to October, Tuesday to Saturday every evening from 18.00 hrs and on Sunday mornings at 11.00 hrs.
